"The Rep Forms create a conceptual blur of cyclic confusion. Dumbbells are designed to sculpt the body which has in turn sculpted the dumbbells. The set toys with the concept of repetition(s) and (re)cycling. The materials used for this piece are appropriate for an inner-city gym: They are the gritty remains of once-legible traffic signage, and through lathe-finishing, acquire a raw elegance."
