Curators' Focus: Turning in Context
This beautifully designed exhibition catalogue presents work in a variety of materials by selected contemporary lathe-turning artists from around the world. Organized by the Wood Turning Center, the exhibition was curated around the four contexts of the physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual as they relate to lathe turning. The 156-page book contains color photographs of the entire exhibition, along with artists' statements and resumes. Also included are essays on aspects of the lathe-turning field by the four exhibition curators and three field experts.
